Treasure Quest is our flagship maths adventure game — a full island-hopping journey that weaves maths questions into a genuine narrative experience. Players sail between five exotic islands, answering maths questions to unlock treasure chests and earn gold coins. Each island has its own visual theme and challenges, and players must answer five questions correctly to reveal the island's hidden treasure and unlock the next destination on the map. The adventure format means that maths is not the goal of the game — it is the key that unlocks progress. This shifts the psychological experience of maths practice from "doing worksheets" to "solving puzzles to go on an adventure," which research consistently shows improves motivation, persistence, and emotional engagement. The game adapts to four difficulty levels. Children aged 5–7 work with simple addition and subtraction, with numbers up to 20. Ages 8–10 tackle multiplication and division with numbers up to 100. Ages 11–12 progress to harder arithmetic involving larger numbers and mixed operations. Teen players (ages 13–14) encounter the most challenging questions, including multi-step problems and number theory. Progress — including earned coins and unlocked islands — is saved automatically between sessions, so children can return to their adventure whenever they like. Coins can be counted and compared, adding a secondary maths activity to the gameplay. Treasure Quest was designed collaboratively with Australian primary school teachers to ensure the questions are genuinely curriculum-aligned and appropriately challenging.
